Amplifier

A cart with microphone, amplifier and speakers can be booked in TimeEdit. Reserve from the time you want to pick up the equipment until you expect to return it to the AV storeroom (room 10202).

Mentometers (clickers)

Campus Management has five sets of mentometers for loan that can be booked in TimeEdit:

  • Ångström: 5 sets: RED, GREEN, BLACK, BLUE and ORANGE, with 50 mentometers per set (room 10202)

The mentometers are of the ResonseCard RF type. You do not need a line-of-sight view for communication between the handheld unit and receiver unit. The range is about 60 metres, with a bi-directional signal. Contact AV-support for assistance in installing mentometers, if needed.

Hearing loop/Audio Induction Loop

The following rooms have a hearing loop installed that is activated when you start the AV equipment (microphones/body mikes are available):

Mobile hearing loop equipment

For rooms that don't have an installed hearing loop you can pick up mobile hearing loop equipment at the reception desk.

Mobile e-meeting equipment

Mobile e-meeting equipment can be borrowed from the AV-room (room number 10202). The camera has a built-in microphone and speakers and connects to your computer via USB cable. As an employee, you have access to the room via your access card and book the equipment via TimeEdit.

Mobile TV screen

There are two mobile TV screens (65") that can be borrowed from the AV-room (room number 10202). They are booked through TimeEdit:

  • Mobile TV screen - only a screen
  • Mobile video conference 2 - screen with built-in e-meeting solution.

Staff bicycles

Campus Management at the Ångström Laboratory two employee bicycles for staff employed in the Campus Management area.

  1. Bicycle no. 3 Standard bicycle. The key marked No. 3.
  2. Bicycle no. 4 Standard bicycle. The key marked No. 4.

Bicycles can be booked in TimeEdit by selecting "Utrustningsbokning" (Equipment booking) in the menu.

Before your bike ride

The bicycle key, bicycle helmet, high visibility vest and extra chain lock can be picked up in room 1005 in Ångström Laboratory. Use a personal campus card to access the room.

The employee bikes are parked under Campus Management’s covered bike parking at the end of Ångström Laboratory Building 4. The bikes are locked there in the bicycle stand with a chain/cable lock attached to the bicycle’s regular lock.

Keep in mind during your bike ride

The extra chain lock is to be brought along when using the employee bike and used to lock it when parked. The extra chain lock is then secured in/around the selected bicycle stand and then in the regular bicycle lock at the bicycle’s rear wheel.

After the bike ride

The bicycle is parked under Campus Management’s covered bike parking at the end of Ångström Laboratory Building 4 and is securely locked to the bicycle stand with the affixed chain lock in the regular bicycle lock at the bicycle’s rear wheel.

The bicycle key, bicycle helmet, high visibility vest and extra chain lock are returned in room 1005 in Ångström Laboratory.

We ask that you leave the bicycle and its accessories in the same condition as you would want to find them at your next ride.

Problems with a bike?

If you detect any malfunction of employee bicycles and their accessories, report this immediately to Campus Management by e-mail: vaktmasteri-angstrom@uu.se

Campus Management can also assist the area’s units with repairs of their own employee bicycles in accordance with a decision the Campus Management Board 150904.

Poster screens

Campus Management has two alternatives for poster screens. Posters are to be pinned up on the screens.

  • Paper screens in three sections that are 190 cm high x 79 cm wide per section
  • Poster screens with an aluminium frame for dimensions of 1005 x 1400 mm.

Poster screens can be booked at the reception. Note that the poster screens may not be removed from the Ångström Laboratory Campus. Uppsala University/Academic Conferences have poster screens for rental outside the campus area.
